All very good information. Sometimes I cant wait to get started and just taking stuff apart, and other times Im overwhelmed thinking what have I just started???!!!

Today for example, I started hearing about how busy campgrounds were, and reservations filling up for the 2014 season. The dream of just driving out west or around the state of Michigan with my AS in tow, maybe that isn't realistic. The pro's seem to have their routes and dates mapped out, and make their reservations so far in advanced. I don't know if I am coming or going yet. All in due time I suppose.

    You're welcome,

I have a refrigerator vent cover that's salvageable, I couldn't throw away. A bit of cloth and resin should resurrect it. I've opted out of propane refrigeration. Thinking that 120v/12v will be OK. I'm going solar. My refrigeration needs are small.

I was a long time remodeling contractor until the city called one day and offered a job teaching ceramics. I still work on my unfinished restoration 100+year-old house, but direction of interest has turned to the GT. It's nice to have a project that has a foreseeable end.

Search "68 window blinds" and there is a post I made about micro blinds, with interior pictures of GT.

After 50 years of "no trace" camping with ultra-light gear, the trailer is quite a luxury. Did a 1500 mile 11 day color tour of UP last fall.

I'll bump your post up with something soon.

    Happy Trails
