Jim: I read your posting from last year about lockset repair and I was wondering if you could help me out. I'm restoring a 1969 ambassador and the previous owner jerry rigged a home lockset in place of the original. I have purchased the correct lockset yet the latch in loose in the door casting and I'm not sure what the lock setup should look like. Is it possible for you to send me a few digital pictures of your lockset and latch? It would greatly be appreciated.
