We go to Welaka which is up near Palatka and are camping at someone's house on the river. I have never camped at Wekiva but have heard good things about it. Good luck on your rehab. It would be fun to try to put together a Central Florida camping group. We have found most of the nice places you have to get reservations well, especially if you are going to book around the Holidays or the Winter months before the snowbirds go back.

I got your message, yes the new hot water hearter seems to be working well. Its the new model that has an adjustable dail. So far so good. I'm right in the middle of a major rehab, but we are on the upswing. We live in Brooksville, and all the camp sites you listed are on our short list to hit. It would be cool if we could do a mini rally some were in the centeral Florida area. Once the old girl is campable again we are going to try to do 1 per month as well. How is Wekia springs? We did a drive through and it seemed nice. Do they have a nice swim area? Good for snorkeling?

Hope your water heater works. We are excited about Disney and the grandchildren, I grew up here and havn't been since my early 20 as large crowds can wear on me. Have planned an action packed schedule with times for naps and reservations at some of the very nice restaurants. The boys (2 and 5) are generally well behaved, engaging, and very loving. We planned this for Gavin's 5th Birthday and Grandpa's 61st!
We try to camp a long weekend at least once a month. Our favorites are boon docking at Juniper Springs. Concerts at the St. Augustine Amplitheatre which you walk to from your site at Anastasia, Weleka on the St. Johns were we have family, Fort Clinch each may for the seafood fest, ... enough about us.
Maybe sometime we can try to get some other aluminium fans together.
