Andy - you are truly amazing!!! I've been driving myself crazy trying to find this!! getting ready to place my order now.......I started replacing all of the exterior gaskets with an automotive strip I found at Home Depot but it's really think for some of the windows that need two strips...I had been referred to an Airstream dealer in Washington state but if you have the "gasket kit" for our trailer I'll order from you. Will definitely read about the article re: axle and appreciate your advice on the rock guard - ours if very very old and brittle - there are cracks which appear to have been sealed - ideally I would like to update with a new one - do you sell something that would fit our trailer?
thank you again - I'm so excited to find those silly window seasl!!

    Hi Monah

Please visit our web site, Inland RV Center - The Nations Leading Expert in Airstream Innovations

Go to parts and then to part # 34727.

That was designed to exactly remedy the lift arm seal problem. They are installed with 2 screws, and it's done.

I might suggest that you check your exterior gaskets on all your windows and entrance door. Also, check the rock guard for cracks. Depending on where it may be cracked, it could fly off when on the highway.

Also, please visit our article section. Read the article about the "Dura-torque axle". That will teach you how to check yours out in 30 seconds, so that you can make sure your coach is safe.

If you have any other questions or concerns, please call me at 800-8777311.

    Regards.

    Andy

Hi there - my husband and I are restoring a '69 Tradewind - have run into some interesting challenges along the way, most of which we've been able to resolve, with the exception of this one: Our windows have no "pile" that would prevent air, bugs, whatever to come in when we have the windows open. When we bought the trailer, which was in pretty bad shape, the only this surrounding the windows on the inside was some really gross brittle plastic which seemed to serve no purpose whatsoever. I ordered the "fluffy" stuff from Vintage Trailer.com or Airstream, can't remember which, but it's way too tiny to close the gape - do you have any suggestions?
Thank you in advance for your help - greatly appreciate it
    Mona
