I am not sure if I am sending this the correct way. You may have already received two other messages from me. I think you may be trying to sell some of the AS parts out of your trailer that you do not need. If so, I am interested in the tambour doors and perhaps some of the other items. I live up the road from you in Euless and have a 70 Ambassador. Let me know through the AS sit or via my email at jmjc1234@sbcglobal.net. Thanks, John

Hello Wildrtexas, I just spotted your picture of 12/9/09 where you had help with the rear floor leak. I am there right now. Great weather allowed me to work on the trailer all last weekend, unlike tomorrow. I pulled my old pluming and studied the problem. The wood will come up next. Ganglin advised you to study the steel channel welded on top of the frame. I think that is the rotten metal that remains on mine. I have plenty of exposed bolts that should be holding my channel & wood floor to the frame. I think I have about 3" of wood missing. Perhaps I will work in the cold tomorrow so I can learn more. My 7 bathroom pieces are currently in the front of the AS and I am undecided on new color. Did you decide to paint yours?

I have been side tracked lately with the holidays and travel to state high school football championship. I did finally get the toilet up and the bathroom out. I will repair the molded pieces and do a floor repair since I have rear in sag. Sorry I did not see the November message you sent. Things have been crazy. I will try to look more often.

I can't wait to actually start working on what the inside will look like when finished, but I like you need to get the basics up and running. I have really put the time in on fixing a leak at the AC unit. I may get the rain test over the next 48 hours. I have replace all weather stripping except one for the reefer access door. I will be pulling bath fixtures out next weekend I hope with plans for fiberglass repair and epoxy paint after I get the rear sag problems solved. A lot of work, but I enjoy doing new challenges.

That would be cool to have someone with the same year AS. I just took out the kitchen cabinet, oven and twin and the walls that seperate the bath from the living. Working my way to removing the bath fixtures to begin the epoxy process. When I got the AS and towed it here from Georgia. My intention was only to replace the carpeting..It has since become a full blown remodel... more to my taste. Going "cowboy chic" with the interior. Wood floors, custom rustic pine furniture. But I have to get all the mechanicals in order before the pretty stuff . Working on replacing cooper with Pex. It never ends, its a fun ride.

Hello WILDRTEXAS, I think I added you to my friend list. I accept the invite on the friend request. Perhaps we could help each other out on the rehab. I have been at it all day, trying to fix a leak at the AC unit. The plate the compressor mounts on leaks where it was mounted to the AC deck. With a little time for the Vulkem to set up, I should be ready for a test rain predicted for Sunday night.
