Digger,
It was great to meet you and your wife last weekend. We really enjoyed Boonesborough, beautiful weather I hope we get that lucky in april.

Sounds great! We really like the layout. I hope you invited the 14 units to the airforum rally in April. 14, that must have been awesome....

What did you think of Dale Hollow?

Digger,
That's some of the same things I was thinking about, sponsoring a meal, t-shirts (with adds), door prizes, etc. Let me see what I can do, I used to have some connections at Camping World and Trailer World. You will love Dale Hollow!! If you are coming from Somerset on 90 be sure to go down to highway 63 in Burksville before you turn to go to the park. There is an alternate route you will come to first (don't remember the road #) I would not take it, strait up and very narrow. Have fun!

Digger,
What do you think about sponsors for the Rally? I don't know if anything will happen but Camping World and Trailer World corporate headquarters are here in Bowling Green. I would be happy to ask.

Hey digger,
Vote on the Sept. Photo contest!! We are letter E!!! By the way, spoke to NB and as far as I know we are set. I've not heard back from Troy at NB but left several messages. He is in group res. and could not see any issues. I've requested a reserved area if possible.

I like it. I still have not heard anything from Natural Bridge. I will call them back tomorrow. I really don't understand the issue of getting "permission" if 20 campers made individual reservations, what's the difference? Oh, well...

digger bear,
I'm sorry it has taken so long to get back but work has been busy this week. I contacted Natural Bridage and I'm waiting to hear back from them, it seems everything has to go through reserveamerica. If Natural Bridge does not work out the state park at Nolin lake is really nice and juts out into the lake. 94tri and Alumutube are very interested so I would think between us we could hav a good time. Any thoughts on a Rally name?

We met a couple from Butler Co. who are members. They were very nice and very encouraginf about joining. The Flener's have lots of family members in Glasgow. We really want to join but unfortunately will find little time for trips unless they are on weekends and close by. We still have two young ones in the house and work never seems to stop.
We have camped a couple of times at Dalehollow Lake State Park, if you have not been there it is worth the trip. We are actually going Labor Day weekend with several family members. The campground is very clean, nicely laid out, easy access, has a pool (important for kids). The only drawback, it does not have a direct view of the lake. We camped last week at The Narrows on Barren River Lake (just south of Glasgow) it is also very nice with a beautiful lake view. We have visit Nolen Lake, the state park camp ground is small but nice and there is another MUCH larger campground on Nolen called Moutadeer but you have to reserve early since several sights do not have water or electric. We are planning to camp at Bailey's Point (Barren RIver Lake) in October. We have enjoyed it so much it seems we can't get enough.
I don't want to pull mine too far until I can get new axles in the Spring or a newer camper (really nice 88 Excello on Ebay but the wife says "out of the budget".
