Great news. Me, my 68 Overlander and my dog Ruby are back on the road. After a long war over who gets the Airstream in my separation, my days without it are over.
I drove it last week 2,000 miles. Went to Florida and back to St. Louis. Only one thing fell of in the trip and I only had to add two rivets. I would have attended the Branson rally, but had to get back to the yoga studio. The thing I lost on my trip was my rear hatch that hides the battery. I just saw one on Airstream forum that is off of a '68 Trade Wind. Would you think it would fit? I'll go measure mine. It sure hope this isn't hard to find. I have a few things to tweek on the trailer, but felt like the trip went really well. I'm trilled to be back. I am going to go RSVP to the Rend Lake Rally. I can't wait. Saw you signed up for the rally. Don't be shy, and post on the rally thread whenever you want to give input! We live in Ofallon, MO. There is another couple bringing their recently acquired 1968 Overlander as well, so it will be an event for all. See you in August.
