Don't do it!! It took about a week the first time--lot of nasty, arm wrenching work. I used a variable speed polisher from Harbor Frieght ($40) and it is still going. Dewalt was much more $ but built better I guess. I used a product called Gliptone Liquid Metal Polish and it did a good job--about $100 worth did the whole trailer. 3 grades of polish: red =coarse, green =medium, blue =fine. Would like to try the Nuvite products but they are so expensive. If you do it, please send a picture or two. Good luck! Bill

I keep going back to that pic of your 34' and think I might be convinced that 34 feet of aluminum looks better polished! How long did it take you to polish? What equipment/products worked best?

Yes!! What a job!! It needs a touch up run but I am knee deep into the restoration of a 1960 Tradewind so it will just have to wait. Will be polishing that one as well. Surely appreciate the kind comments. Bill

Sharp looking '34! Did you polish it yourself?
