Hey Cosmos,
I use the same brake controller and it works great. Overall impressions of the towing experience with the Sequoia is GREAT. Plenty of power to pull the hills (unlike my anemic '89 Land Cruiser). One observation is that you might want to consider load leveling bars for night time driving. I was playing with bar tension on the leveling bars and it REALLY makes a difference in how the headlights shine. Without the bars (or with bars set on the light side) the rear of the Sequoia is pushed down a few inches due to the tongue weight of the trailer. This causes the headlights to point much higher, blinding oncoming traffic. It is very important that the tow vehicle be level to avoid this problem. My only other observation was that I cannot decide whether to drive with the Overdrive engaged. Fuel economy is improved, but it pushes you below the power band. I overcame this by simply disengaging the OD whenever I came upon a hill or incline. Good chatting with you -Todd

Hi Toddster, Glad to see someone using a similar rig. I went with the Sequoia to tow my 65 caravel. I've only done some local towing and short hops on the intersate but everything works good. I added a Tekonsha Prodigy brake controller and right now just pull it on the ball without sway control or equalizer. What's your impression of your rig so far?
