I am not able to respond to PMs on my phone so I am leaving this here.

The new axle that I installed on the flying cloud is complete with electric brakes. The last axle had them too.

The wires are run through the axle tube, and concealed nicely.

Hey Steve .... see, you got two rallies out of the one Rend Lake Midwest Rally. Hope you are feeling better about the turnout at the first Rend Lake Rally since it generated this second Buddy rally. Please give Reed and Mary and the other folks at the rally our regards.
