Hi Tom; Our bike rack works very well for us. The only downside is it limits access to the bumper storage area. Two years ago I had CanAm RV inspect my Safari any evidence of frame separation or problems caused by the bumper mounted bike rack and there were no issues. All fittings are solid with no signs of cracking or deterioration of any type. Andy Thompson of Can-Am has been using this custom design for many years, apparently without problems. His design was the inspiration for the Fiamma version.

All that being said we don't really travel that far, putting at most 1000 mi/year on the trailer. Also, frame separation issues are usually only associated with 30+ footers.

    Hi Gary,
I saw your post back in 2012 about a bike rack that Can-Am RV did for you. Has this type of rack worked for you? Did you experience any fatigue on the rack or the bumper's attachment points to the trailer frame?
