That is paint on our front gaucho area, applied with a short roller. It was originally Zolatone. We did not strip the Zolatone, but cleaned it real well, applied two coats of exterior oil based primer (Kilnz) The silver is an oil based color, the Beige for the rest of the trailer is an exterior water base paint. This is our third season and it is holding up real well. No peeling or lifting any where. If you need product names for the paint let me know, I am at work and can not think of them off hand.

My husband and I are working on a 1965 Trade Wind. I noticed your photos (NICE!) and I'm curious about your front gaucho area. Is that paint on the upper wall, aluminum, or did you strip down to that surface? I've just started to remove the paint in ours using Acetone at the advice of a painter. It's SLOW and messy, and I'm not sure it's the finish we'll want in the end. Any suggestions?
