I have heard of Toscanos. I think they may be the closest AS dealer to San Francisco. The person I bought our trailer from is buying a 2001 from them. I thought I saw photos of yours with the twin-queen switch? Seems very doable, I think we canlive without the storage. I have stayed at a cabin on the kaweah and back country skied into Pear Hut. I will keep you in mind if traveling in your neck of the woods. Thanks for the reply.

I put the rock guards on the front windows myself. Got them from Toscanos for a bit over $600. It is not bad to put on, just test fit everything.
I have looked into the twins to queen switch and it could be done if you can find a good carpenter. You would probably have to lose one outside storage compartment due to queen bed orientation. There are many threads on this.

Hello,
I just purchased a 1992 excella 25'. I have been reviewing the forum and came across your profile. Do you have a rock guard on one side of your AS? Is that an after market addition? If so do you know what is involved to add those? Also, I want to switch the twin beds to a queen. Is it difficult to remove the night stand? I live in San Francisco and I have the trailer parked about an hour away. Taking our first trip in a few weeks. I will be posting some photos after that.
Cheers,
