    browneyes, sorry for the late reply we have been gone for most of two months to a couple of rallies and then back east on family business. Once we got home we were so busy I zoned out and didn't log on until now.

    By pin I am assuming you mean the pin that holds the the hitch shank in the receiver. If that is it it would depend upon if it shows any wear; i.e. is the pin worn diameter down any that would allow the pin to work back and forth in either the shank or the receiver.

    Hello, I am Sunshine's husband and we just purchased a 30ft classic. We had a 19ft fleetwood and was wondering if the pin for the old drawtight hitch is strong enough for our airstream?
