I will be bringing the '74 for sure the '56 maybe in pieces by that time. The shocks are gabriels and they are AS only items. Jim May (dealer in Findley OH) has them for 28 bux ea or there about. Rollerboy, That van will do a fine of pulling a 31'r! My van is a 1/2 ton (kinda heavy half) and does an awesome job of towing my '74. I have the 5.3L with the 3:73 HD rear end, 300+HP and I typically get 14 or more MPG. Don't afraid, just hook on! The long wheel base and a properly hitched trailer will be perfect.

excuse me mr.dragn...what do you tow your trailer with ? I think we have similar tow vehicles,and I am thinking about getting a 1974 center bath,31 footer...too heavy for my van ya think? 5.7 liter gmc express 2500 (2004) your input is appreciated !!!
