I should have read your posts before I asked so you wouldn't have had to explain for the umpteenth time. I understand what you had done now.

David, I had the rivet line polished. I then put pin striping tape above and below the polished band to seal the transition and hide some blemishes. The actual process included completing removing the corrosion with a wire brush, sanding the area, acid bathing it, then polishing it. Does that make sense? Robert
