Great story. I have been with Volvo since 1982 mostly with dealerships as a technician and then joined the manufacture and worked as an FTS technical specialist. That was awesome as i routinely wound up in Sweden and all over the US. What a great experience. I have had so many Volvos i cant keep up. Funny these cars get under your skin. I now manage a Volvo dealer in Santa Rosa Ca. Keeps me busy. Nice to see there is another one out there! Take care.. Vinnie

So I just discovered a new section on the airforums site; the Profile Comments......
I'm a bit of a Volvo nut. Coming from the Northwest, it was inevitable. My wife and I started dating because I was the only one who could tune a '69 142s (dual Strombergs- nastly little suckers). That car lasted us for another 4 years untill a drunk tried to fit his Ford Bronco in the trunk. (it almost fit) and eventually I got to busy to keep fixing the 740t and traded it in for a Honda, and promptly welded the hood shut.
But we still got a '70 145s and a '68 runabout with a Volvo penta AQ110 to tinker on.
Funny though, my fingernails are starting to look clean again, bust be time to "fix" something.....
