mutcth, what size is your Airstream and what size is the engine in your car? We just bought a 23 with our 1500 Suburban. Wanted a 25 but the truck wouldnt be able to handle the load.

I tow the AS with the Caravan for the 1st time yesterday. It did great no weight bars or trailer brakes. Stopping was fine and the ride was smooth.

    See you next week

Dyanna - good to hear from you! We're actually selling the Minuet because we got a 2007 Safari SE 23'. Nyloboard sounds a bit fussy to get, so I'd probably go with marine plywood.

    Hi Tom,
    Been a long time!
How's the Minuet coming along? I still have the 2006 16 foot Bambi that you guided us to. We are doing some remodeling to it. We finished improving the wet bath last year. We put in a larger medicine cabinet that also can store TP, and added a brushed aluminum sheet to the back wall. This year we are tackling the galley. We took out the vent fan over the rangetop and are putting in a spacesaver toaster oven, which will be far more useful. We are also putting in a moisture proof flooring from Alure. We have a soft spot by the door that is just starting so its a good time to replace the interior floor as well. Do you have any recommendations for the subflooring aside from Nyloboard?
Hope you are ready for the new RV season! Don't forget us if you ever make it our way!

Your comments earlier today were spot on. I see the thread is gone now however.

Got to ask about your T@B... We sold our T@B to buy the AS...I loved that little thing! but with 2 big goldens and a six foot husband, it was too small for the family. Plus, the indoor plumbing of the AS is way cooler that the Cabella shower, even with the on demand hot water!
