Need Windows for '58 Overlander
I have a 1958 Overlander that I need window assys for.
23 3/4 x 13 5/8 curb side door lower jallousy
39 1/4 x 18 1/8 rear window
and a 25x14 roof vent cover
Anyone that has these parts that I might be able to use, please email me at steve@s-mcycles.com.
I am gutting my trailer for a modern remodel and have a huge number of better/excellent parts that I am willing to trade for parts that I need.
Thanks,
Steve

Steve,
What is it that you are getting rid of? I have a 1954 Double Door 30' Liner in need of a complete interior, including appliances. I am also looking for two 25X14 windows, let me know if you find excess.
Bill

I have a full trailer. I have curtain holders, T-clips, a bathroom acordian door, closets, door hardware, copper wall shelves, lighting, single beds, gaucho, fridge, heater duct, basically everything that my wife hates and that I can't use in the remodel. I intend to hold on to the cabinets, gaucho, closets, and like stuff until I can make cardboard templates so that I can replicate the skin curves.

Windows are very hard to come by - you may find one here and there, but getting all that you need may be tough. One idea is to bag all the windows and put new ones in. I know that Airstream lightning gods will strike me, but I figure since your modernized anyway - - - - - - - - - -

Hi Mike;
That is a pretty impressive find - and I am sure that lots will benefit from your remodel.
Re the windows - pop some lexan in until you come across what you are looking for - at least it will save any headaches during your remodel. (bugs rain etc.
Will be interesting to see your remodel - and don't worry about the gods - they are allready shining on you for such a great CHEAP find. The true meaning of being in the right place at the right time.
Stinky trailers need all the insulation replaced under the floor and quite possibly in the walls - nothing worse than doing your whole trailer up nice and that "smell" is still there!
Good luck with your retrofit.
I'd love the white knobs but I am sure they will be long gone!!! But if you have a few extra - can you PM me for an availability???

Actually I've been contemplating this very idea for the 54 Cruiser. I can get a full set of windows out of a 74 Overlander so at least they would be Airstream windows, just a little newer. I'm going to get one of the newer ones and see what I'm up against. The biggest problem will be the front window because I don't think the curved front of the 74 will fit the narrower 54 model. However I may look at using two rear windows of the 74 era. My only other alternative is to have a metal guy I know build me a duplicate using one of my existing as a template.
