Need help w/ 56 overlander

I have an Overlander that I recieved from a freind who new nothing of the Trailer except where it came from. I do not have any idea of the age, but I do have a number I found near the door. I was wanting to know if anyone would tell me what these nubers mean, and what the approx. value of this trailer would be, itis in fair condition. The numbers found near the door are 07353. Iwas told that the numbers on the tail light can also help identify the year of the trailer. Is that a true statement? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks everyone.

From the serial number, my guess is it's a '56. Pictures can help ID it...does it look like this?

I think there is a way to identify the year of the tail lenses based on the number - I know that works for boat trailers - however, I wouldn't think its reliable since they tend to get changed..... the most reliable is that number thats on the plate next to the door - which does sound likes its a 56.

Your pixctures were very helpful. The camper looks excatly like thos in the pictures. Any idea what the value of something like that would be if it is in fair condition? I will postpics very soon.
