I got to spend a little time today with Holly. I have spent the last couple of weeks working on resizing a jalousie window and I got it back together and test fit today. To resize it I ended up taking it completely apart , cutting down the sides and putting everything back together.Along the way I lost count of the hours I spent cleaning. I have one more window to do this to and then its time to think about lifting the body

You shortened it by 2 glass panes, right? Looks great, but why did you shorten it? Just wondering.

That window will be over the dinette table, it didnt make sense to me to have the glass below the table. The next window will be in the front curb side location, at the foot of the bed. Ill also shorten that one and as well make it narrower, only 24" wide. The 57 has short windows and I didnt want to alter it too much

I got down to Holly today and resized the next jalousie window. At the last minute I decided to leave it full height and just narrowed the width. I purchased a new profile gauge last week to help with the floor template and doing the cabinets if I ever get that far.It opens to 106" in length and will do inside and outside curves

That's a very unusual looking tool; do you mind if I ask where you found it?

Woodworkers supply. A friend of mine that does timber work purchased one and as soon as I saw it I knew I would have to get one. I do a lot of decks and gates and pergolas and it will sure make doing curves easier. It should save time scribing cabinets to fit in the Airstream as well

Thanks!

I know he's still around, I talked to him 2hrs. ago, I think he needs a little more pressure from everyone to get back to working on Holly! He made up some reason about having to work for a living We all need that aluminum pot full of cash and time to keep our hobbies going! I am not helping his efforts much though because he is going on a recovery mission with me this weekend.
