Another experiment

Entry door leaks at the floor are a problem With the added depth of the flooring and the close tolerance door fit I was having trouble working with a standard threshold. So I made this up...lets see how it works.

battery box

I ran out of room inside for battery placement. So I used to old surge brake mechanicals position and mounted a battery box there.

Just to keep busy

Had to clean up the mess of a typical upper vet and prep for future. I will install a Fantastic Fan here this week. Note the drain line and electrical pre positioned.

Looks like it does....eventhough I can't change the size like I did with Infanview. Can't seem to get that to work with MAC. Well, this is the redone interior. Remember....my dictum was use all the original stuff as possible...clean it up. I did get new high quality foam and ultra leather material. Scanner is for Texas weather checking.

Things to do when bored with bad weather

Could not get out so I did nick knack things. Replaced the front cone light with a dual cone fixture...same era.....and look.
Opened up the baggage door and insulated it. Makes it solid and I replaced the lock at the same time. Insulation is covered with the inside aluminum cover so you can't see the foil.

Robin, thanks so much for posting those pics of your new baby. She must be a CA built, right? (I think the shape of the wheel wells are that, and then I thought the CA built ones weren't 13-panel in the rear, but I could be wrong on that too.)

When I look at your pics, I immediately see how much better condition your exterior skins are than ours were. For one thing, no buckshot marks! And I don't think I saw any dents on your exterior. Also, it looks as though yours must have been used more recently than ours had been, it looks as though there is carpeting in there or something red anyway. From the looks of ours when we bought her, the interior looked as though she hadn't been used for a couple decades, at least.

I can't wait to see what you do with her.

Deb
