Thumbs up

Great thread, lots of detail and ideas for our '56.
Thanks for taking the time to share and post. we've started on our rig, still laying out the interior as it was stripped when we got it. (hay barn for goats). Looking at the Basecamp as a functional layout with a touch of the early '50s "camper".
Again thanks, and still not confirmed for another run to ABQ for the VTA-

finish ups

I am putting a 12 inch strip of warm LED lights into each overhead cabinet. The control switch is exposed when you slide the cabinet door open.

One of the best items I have come up with is the threshold stainless trip cover. It is functional and look good. I put in Bub first and it looked so good I made another one for Babs.

other work

I guess I should have shown the threshold installed.
Anyway, I wanted color...lots of color inside. I hate those bland new interiors. Well, those with those interiors will hate my colors too....I got kidded a lot about my day of the dead Halloween curtains...

Good looking work you're doing there.
Nice shear! Is that yours! You must have a break as well.

Thanks for looking. The shear is GREAT! WW2 surplus with a new blade. Wish I had a break...still looking.

I'm dying to see what you do to the front kitchen safari! The bubble is beautiful, I love all the color, there's nothing worse than " builder beige". Go big or go home

LED lighting

Leds throughout. Wish the pics were better. The warm LED works great with the soft wood tones.

The pleasures of having two

Sold the other Bubble. It was really nice...but, I kept it as original as possible....but usable. Actually, I liked it better. I just had to down size. Stick with me on this one....it will be fun. I rely on your thread for inspiration.

Funny as I said the same thing. Countless times I asked the price with no answer! Oh well, I've got a great trailer anyhow, and wouldn't like moving 2 across country.
