Are those cushions the ones you are going to use? Also you shoulder sleep with your boots on.

more work

Hi...Yes...why go to expensive new stuff. I can get at least 10 more years out of those cushions...if I don't put my boots on them while I sleep.

Working the sliding door today...the last big project. Then it is the counter top and the table. I got an adjustable Garlick yacht type table stand....it will be here Friday.

Also got some Formica, old style boomerang design. Now I have to find upholstery and curtains/shades to match. I find that decorating stuff/co-ordinating difficult.

Sliding door is now in.

The door is now ready for staining along with all of the interior wood. Late today I will disassemble it all, pull it out for final check and staining/finish. Some tweaking inside along with the new laminate floor....probably in two days when the temps are forecast to be warmer.

I really like what you've done, great job! This last set of pics cleared up your layout for me, very visual here. I'm still a little iffy on how the bed works, but I'm going to ask my DH to look your pics over and read the posts -- he's very mechanically oriented, so I think he'l "get it".

I have a question for you, is there room from the front of your bathroom (the wall) to the wheel well for a larger frig? That's about the area we're thinking we'd like to place our frig since we want a larger one and there just aren't that many places in a Bubble to put a taller-than-normal frig.

Thanks.

Deb

pulled the entire interior

Finished the cabinetry. So....I pulled it all out so can install the floor and stain the wood cabinetry.
I have a first major problem....I do not like ho low the Valtera dump valve sets behind the wheel... I may have to move the axle below the springs.
I have decided to use extra formica and install on the contort below the bath sink and the floor under the toilet. I had just enough to do that and I like the color tie in into the toilet "room."
Started to fit the piano finish flooring. And, YES, I am putting it on the entire floor. I like the finished look it gives to the floors in the closet and cabinets.
Rain and cold tomorrow....will wait a few days to continue.

Formica Boomerang sheets are Wilsonart from an old kitchen remodel. Not available anymore. Wilsonart does have a Boomerang pattern available now, but it is only in one color choice...black and grey.

Built like Airstream would do it (almost)

I forgot to mention....all the interior was built with the premis...it will all fit through the door.

Looking good!

I remember my parents had that same Boomerang pattern in their kitchen many years ago -- brings back memories.

Wow, Robin! You're really quick with your woodworking! It looks great. Your sliding door is really a nice touch.

Something worse than polishing

Never thought there would be something worse than polishing...there is (for me.) now. Staining and finish painting all the interior. All hand work and rubbing the stain in twice...then paint and sand and finish paint with a satin clear coat. It will never end.

The wood floor is in also. DO NOT ever try to use a click type flooring which has the foam type insulation barrier bonded to it. A PAIN! The insulation stretches into the grooves and the boards will not join. I had to hand trim every board once I figured out the problem.

Pictures tomorrow. I am all stove up from that bending over all day staining.
