You should consider a felt wine rack/holder. Google them. They might be perfect for that spot.

Deb—sorry I havn’t been on the forum for a long time since i finished the bubble. I’m sure you have your answer by now though. I prepped the floor by getting a nice sanded and firm plywood finishe and hired out the marmoleum install so I really don’t remeber what they did . Cheers!
