Help with Ancient Sovereign

We need HELP!! We just bought a Sovereign that is going to be housed in the woods permanently, so off the road! We still want to know more about it and we think it is a '56-58 as it traveled during that time as noted on the body. I do have a # on the side of the Sovereign and do not know if that is actually something that would help us find out the year, as I want to order some window replacements, curtains, etc.

Also, is there a way to get a manual? I have no idea how the plumbing works, but know that it did as someone was using our Silver Bullet before we acquired it and we would like to get that going even if we have a "stationary" Airstream.

Hope I can get some feedback from any of you true blue Airstreamers!!

There are no manuals for your vintage unit.

The numbers on the side (by the door) might be used to pin point the year. Send out those #'s and someone on the forum might be able to help.

On the plumbing Q, you will need to just ask it and there should be enough resources on this forum to get the answer. So just ask.

Same applies for the window Q and or parts.

Welcome aboard Patti. The serial number is also stamped on the top of the tongue (you might have to use some paint stripper to find it). E-mail it to Airstream at this address and they will advise you the exact year.
