I agree, looks fantastic. Seems hardly used as well. BTW, what ever happened to that sob you guys were working on?

The SOB (Serro Scotty) is sadly, still in the garage. We've had a bunch of bigger projects that have usurped that project! We plan on finishing it this fall/winter. Sometimes real-life gets in the way. It's close...but I will most likely sell it upon completion...we just bought a "new to us" 2015 27' FBT that will be much better for our long-term travel plans in retirement. (386 days, 7 hours, 55 minutes & 17 seconds...but who's counting!?)

Well, nothing like a vintage Airstream project (or some other brand) for enjoyment in retirement. You have your 2015 27' trailer to "personalize" to your retirement liking. We are planning a 4 week trip to the great Pacific Northwest come early September. Airstream traveling is also a pleasant retirement activity. Much better than pickle ball or feeding pigeons in the park.

I also have a SOB (Serro Scotty) project. I bought it at an auction for an Airstream Restoration shop where the owner retired. The restoration work is superb, it just needs to be completed- electrical, plumbing, HVAC, soft goods, etc.
Of course it is on the back burner.

Our plan is to hit the road & follow 70-degrees for a minimum of two years come retirement...the Scotty will be done (& gone) before we go!
