Roof A/C

Reluctantly considering adding a roof A/C unit. I hate the way they look on vintage trailers but am beginning to think it may be the best solution. Anyone else done this?
What is the lowest profile unit currently available?
Will it fit in my existing vent opening?
I am guessing it is not pre-wired for AC power...
How do I handle the considensate?

Thanks in advance!

Better option

Went a totally different direction and ended up with a very good solution. I purchased a 12,000 BTU Pioneer "DC inverter type" split system AC/heat pump and mounted the outdoor unit on the tongue and the indoor unit in the end cap.
I had to re-orient the tongue jack, remove one LP tank, and build a mounting platform for the remaining tank and AC compressor.
I used brackets to mount the indoor unit to the wall/ceiling and had to cut the refrigerant lines to length and run them through the shell. Vacuumed out the lines and tightened up the connections to eliminate leaks, then released the refrigerant.
After a ten day trip I am very pleased with the unit performance. It is extremely quiet and draws 8 amps max. Remote control thermostat can be placed by the bed at night and adjusted as needed.

Update

After a year of use this A/C is still going strong. Super quiet, low power consumption (easily runs on a Honda 2000), and best of all no "roof blister". We have reluctantly decided to sell this trailer to move up to something larger - ad is in the Classified section.

Other threads address wiring. Some shops already experienced with AS.
