Photos of the '54

I thought I would share some photos of our newest addition to the small fleet we have. This is our 54 Flying Cloud, it was a one owner when we picked it up. Our youngest daughter has laid claim to this one!

Demanding Elaine! When will it be road ready? It WILL have hot water right? Where are you going to put the bathroom, remember the makeup mirror! Its not polished, you have to polish it Dad. You are going to ask Mom to make me new curtains and stuff aren't you? I'll need it in about 3 years, will it be done by then?

And I said when the 59 was finished, I would NEVER do this again!

Ed, sounds like you have a restoration partner there. Break it to her gently.

That's nice Ed.

Tell us more about how you found a one owner 54'? The previous owner must have some interesting stories about the trailer and also about them?

By the way we met at the Salem, Oregon International. You where one of the Vintage judges. I think I remember hearing you say that you would never do that again either.

Never say never again, as they say.

Good luck with the new project!

You have to be crazy to do what I did to 54 FC but it is a ground up restoration plan to start on the interior in the next few weeks

Hey, Ed!

Now that you've completed your term's over on the VAC board just think of all the extra time you'll have....

Nice trailer!

Most excellent Flying Cloud! Amazing condition.
Do you have any pictures of your 59? I'm really interested in your shower arrangement.
Thanks!

Nice trailer!
All I can say is I'm glad that its really cold and I don't have room in the drive to keep it there and do you knowhow hard it is to find storage that you can get to the trailer 24/7(god I hate the buzz term!) AND I'm starting a 4 week work road trip.

But I have plans!!!!!!!!!
I thought I would just add a bath and run with it BUT now I see gut job and full restore, Elaine can't wait! Well what do I have to do for the next 4 years...............................
