I think this is a '55 flying cloud??

If anyone knows, We just purchased this "1963 flying cloud". With a little research and serial number of 7958 figured out it was about a 55, but not sure it's a flyiing cloud. Pics I've looked at did'nt have the two windows towards the back? Anyone..

Have read that Airstream made changes to many models during the year especially as was transitioning into and out of the year. Also a possibity is number of windows may have been an option but am not sure.

Hi Jaynshae:

From your serial number, it appears your trailer is a 1956 Flying Cloud manufactured in California. We don't have begining and ending serial numbers for that year, but there are 2 other FC's with lightly higher serial numbers which are listed as 1956 trailers. The interiors didn't change much from 1955 to 1957, so the serial number is the best indicator of the model year. Congratulations on a neat purchase!
