Help with history

Hi, Tony from Western Australia. My wife and I bought a 1950 Flying Cloud from Austin Texas about 6 months ago, which we imported and its now getting refurbished here in Australia. I got the bug and we bought another 1954 Airstream before the first one was on the boat (My Texas friend told me its call Airstream addiction).

Anyhow we love these vans and are chasing some advice on where would be the best place to find out some history about these vans, where they were made, when and if possible previous owners etc. If anyone can proved any advice it would be greatly appreciated.

1950 Flying Cloud serial number - 7055

1954 Airstream serial number - 7104

Cheers

Tony

Help with history

Tony can you post pics. Somehow those numbers don't sound right. Is the 54 a FC?

Hi mate, just posted some photos of both vans, you are correct, was typing whilst tied last night, the second van (1954) I believe is a 1954 Safari. Appreciate your assistance.

Regards

Tony
