hello all,
earlier this year I brought home a '53 flying cloud #7525. I Have it stripped down to bare aluminum and remains of the original floor. I recently returned to working on my '63 Globe Trotter and hope to get to the flying cloud later in the coming year.

Looks like the registry isn't being updated anymore (captain jones hasn't been on since 2013)
In case anyone is still collecting these, I just got a 1953 serial number 3101 that's titled as a '57 (gonna need to get that fixed!)

Stephanie and I had the time to update CaptainJones' FlyingCloud Registry for 1950 models; thanks CaptainJones for starting this!
We added information to the list, such as last known owner and location.
We know this list may not be completely accurate, so please verify/update and let us know. The model year serial number ranges came from Vintage Airstream's Photo Archives page. The registry serial number entries highlighed in green don't appear to fit within the range given for the model year.
The list was too long to post as text, so we had to create and attach a .pdf.
We have a total of 153. If you continue to update this post, we will continue to update and post the list.

I have 8026 1956 which belonged to Louis and Mildred Mousley - he was Wally's right hand man as a wagon master on many European caravans - in fact this trailer is pictured in the 1957 National Geographic article as well as numerous other old European pictures - if you see pictures of airstreams parking in a wagon wheel - that was the idea of Louis

I either need to change my handle or you need to change that FC7039 owns Flying Cloud 7039 and not 7024. 7024 was redone by David Winnick and was owned by the CEO of Airstream. My understanding is he sold it.

I still have my 1958 Flying Cloud, 8531. But it is no l longer in Orange, CA but rather in Lytle Creek, CA.
It's resto-mod work was finished about a year ago. Some of you might remember it as the object I used during the annual Vintage Airstream restoration Rally in Albuquerque,NM. Later we brought other trailers there to teach procedures and for show and tell. Ken Johansen's 8026 received a new floor and axle there.
I was going to post some pictures but the system won't let me do so, kicks me out instead.
