1952 Flying Cloud # 7270
Hello Everyone,
I just picked up a 52 Flying Cloud & the last owner lost the California title.
The Vin that his son copied on my receipt is 7270.
I will have the Trailer here is 2 weeks time or less & will verify this.
I am going to have a Vin Inspect to get a Ca. Title.
There were only 154 FC's built in 1952.
I feel like it is a present that fell out of the sky.
I will post pix shortly.

Great idea, mine is 1954 FC #7692. I just have a bill of sale so far but will have it registered in a couple of months after I get the shell back on and am able to tow it to the DMV. Mine's a "whale tail" too.

you should be able to have an officer come out do a VIN inspection and fill out the ppwk for you. Then take the ppwk to DMV and get your title

Had the opportunity to camp with Duncan and Shirlee and their son this weekend at a TCT event. They have done an amazng job in a short time to update their FC for their style of camping. A work in progress that has progressed rapidly and is very functional. It is neat to see one of the oldies back out on the road after so many years tucked away in storage.

I would like to add three more to the list :-)
The first is a 1956 VIN 7823 Whale Tail
The second is a 1962 Vin S0847
The last one is a 1962 Ohio Vin I222F105. It went around the world in 1963/64. It was used by the official Airstream photographer, Fran Hall, during the caravan.

I recently purchased a 1951 15 panel flying Cloud SN 7086. Her name is Ella. I found her on the airstreamclassifieds.com. I towed her home from Florida this past weekend.
