The subfloor is now attached to the frame. The shell is now attached to the subfloor and the frame. Even bucked rivets attaching the wheel wells to the outer skin. All In all a good two days of progress.

I am not sure if i told you or not but I picked up a 1954/55 CA built Flying cloud in May . Hopefully we can swap notes sometime about our FCs. Hope to make it to a few Airstream club get together in 2018.

I'm so glad I found your thread. How exciting! MrRivet and I have just begun our restoration of The Liner. She has sat for three years in the back yard untouched waiting for him to retire. I'll be sure to tell MrRivet to read your thread as well. This will be very helpful to us. We hope to catch up with ya'll soon. You never know if maybe, just maybe we can get ours to Jackson Center one year and we can tell our restoration stories over a cold one. CHEERS!!!
I'll be starting a thread on ours next week ... in the new year!
Well it’s been awhile shine my last update but I am back at it again. The shell and frame are one again and I have moved on. I have started on rebuilding the windows and have three completed. Not a ton of fun but it keeps me busy.

Ed, good to see you back at it. We picked up some good points from your rebuild a couple of years ago. Looking forward to your progress posts and pictures. Take care and stay safe.
