I was able to talk to Steve at VTS today and ordered three new tanks, got a great deal from him, just hoping to get them quickly. No word on the axle yet though. Next is finding an umbilical cord and figure out what material for the belly pan and the under the frame tire rack box.

Which model number/size tanks did you decide on?

We used three VTS 747 tanks. One for fresh water, two for grey water

Is the wood plywood? I tried some thing with veneer and found that the is just to much movement in wood.

Everything is really looking good. You're making great progress. I'm interested in your new fridge and your plan to retrofit a vintage door. We plan on doing the same. I came across a mid 50's Dometic last year and removed the door. Now I need to find a modern fridge and figure out the retrofit particulars. I would be very interested in the details on how it's attached when you get to that point. Thanks, Bubba

Ok Bubba here is the down and dirt. This is the door face I'll be using front and back pictures. The new refrigerator door will fit inside of the vintage face it will be attached somehow bolted to the backside of the face so they both look like it's one piece I will post when it's done I hope that's clear as mud[ATTACH]295744[ATTACH]295745

So had time to make up the emergency pull system in case the FOB had a power failure. One line goes down the wall through the belly pan, and the other goes parallel into the storage area which will be in back of the couch. Click image for larger version

Was also able to finish the fan and front wood piece. The will be a light in front of the fan,( the wiring is already there in back of the wood piece) but we haven't found the right light yet.

We have rounded the corner so to speak. The bed frame is sitting where it will go so I can begin to make the night stands. Of course the misses needs to make the bed, to see how it looks!
