Question 1954? 1955? Custom FC? Early Cruiser?

Not sure what model or year I have...
We have:
single axle
whale tail inside and out
side bath
26' Length
23' Body
7' Width
6 gall hot water electric
birch cabinets
an off beige or soft peach color interior
marvel icebox electric (opens on opposite side of most cruisers)
preway stove & oven together w tall side panel, no shelves on rt of stove
double rear bed (we think)

It is strange because I believe it must be a Cruiser yet it has a lot of the original interior features of a FC. If it is a 55 I believe it appears to have been made in 54 or 53. The title states 47' so I know that is wrong.
Any information you have will be much appreciated.

Check out the Model Resources page on Vintageairstream.com. Photos of pretty much every make and model from that era for comparison to yours

Thank you! I looked it over . It must be a 26' Cruiser. Not a Romany though since the SN is below those numbers. It has the cabinet features of the super early cruisers from 1954 and I have not seen anything but FC that have the front cabinet layout like ours. The other thing I suspect is it was customized somehow bc I have not seen an identical floor plan the same - except some of the 22'FC. I wonder if it was customized? It sure it was a 55' but built earlier bc of appliances and cabinetry.

Cool! Glad it helped. From my understanding it was fairly common in those days to have all kinds of variations when it came to internal configurations--the factory obliged custom requests fairly regularly.
