Well -- It's been a while!

Hi folks,

Over the past few months I have been planning the complete overhaul and updating of our 1989 345 LE motor-home...I am hoping to have everything finished by April 1st - at which point I will be leaving NYC, headed to Dallas, and then... Fairbanks AK for the summer

So..I thought I would share some pics with you guys...

Of the before, during and after...

Part one was to remove all the heavy furniture, seats, gaucho etc. (If you would like any of our old stuff let me know, as these are all for sale and are located in CT)

More pics soon!

what I wouldn't give for all of your leather covered cushions, sofa and such. Shame that I'm in Florida, and you're in Connecticut. Shipping all that stuff would cost as much as recovering. Can't wait to see what's next! If you start tearing out bathroom and shower walls, possible for you to post 'step-by-step' pix?
Thanks, Derek

We removed all the cabinet doors, handles and all the hardware if that interests anyone...let me know -- we will be willing to sell any of all this stuff 'really cheap"... we are getting new captain chairs, and I designed a new "more light weight" couch. You could get the cushions for the dinette if you wanted. Shipping would probably a 100 bucks or less.

We are not going to remove the walls, instead we are just gonna paint everything and put some new door and cabinet faces.

Lots should get done this next coming week -- we are also are removing part of the overhead bins to give the shell a better "look";

Good to hear from you again!

You've really got a project started now. I remember it as looking nice before. Can't wait to see the end results.

Yes! Good to hear from you! How are things on your end?

It's my first reno/upgrade project ever ...so we shall see how it turns out!

Just ordered floors etc... lots on my plate these coming weeks. Its a headache for me to get out to our storage unit because I live in Manhattan and I don't have a car. I have to go back and forth ...if anyone knows of a cheap motel or accommodations...(like a room to rent) let me know!
