Twin Bed Conversion

Just bought a 2016 25' Flying Cloud with the FB twin bed configuration. Looking at making the drawer between the beds removable, installing a slider or shelf between the beds and making a king when we want. Does anybody have experience doing this or comments to share. Thanks.

Last fall we bought a 2009 25FB that was originally a twin but was converted just as you mentioned. The night stand was removed, a frame of slats was installed between the twins and a separate mattress was placed between the twin beds, thus making it a king bed.

We converted it back to twins with the night stand installed, as this is our preference. But the previous owner used it as per your plan and was very happy with it in that configuration.

How did you deal with the curved corners?

I'm not sure I understand your question. The twin mattresses (with the curved corners) were already in place. The additional mattress was rectangular in shape and was placed between the twin mattresses. Of course the night stand was removed.

It was a nice setup if you wanted the entire bedroom to be a bed. Having twin beds works best for us!

I hope that helps answer your question?
