Here are the photos of the Globetrotter that I'll be starting the remodel and rest oration on. Any ideas, hints, helpful tricks appreciated. Or just a comment to say hi is all gravy too

Well, I'd say you've got your hand full there. Should keep you busy for at least one winter.

First thing is always to protect what's left against the elements. It appears you are missing some windows, so quick like a bunny get something covering that up. Then start taking it apart, I figure.

If it has sat for as long as it appears to have, you will need a completely new floor, as a starter. Start searching/googling for shell-off refurbs, you'll find many good histories here.

We brought our 1965 Safari November, 2010. We stripped it down and saved everything. I advise to take lots of pictures of each part prior to stripping it off. We started with the frame and replaced the floor and axel, refinished/replaced cabinets etc. We had to add a gray tank and replace the black tank. We just finished the final plumbing, gas and electrical. We were able to keep all the original appliances, but added a microwave. We have found a lot of help in the forum. Someone always has the answer or knows which direction to point you. We still have a ways to go, but it is very gratifying to see how far we have come!
