Small shelf behind couch -Anyone have one?

Hi,
I have a 1968 Globetrotter and on left side wall behind the couch/bed is a lengthwise shelf or board attached with hinges to the wall held up by 2 "L" brackets. Is this original-seems to be. Also, if it is how many hinges on it and was it held in up position with straps-I see 2 snaps. Photos or info would help greatly. This is my last repair to interior woodwork until it becomes functional.
Thanks,
Randy

Randy, I also have a 68 globetrotter. I got it about a month ago and also trying to figure everthing out. I have a shelf behind the bed/couch in front of the trailer. I don't have a shelf for the middle bed. My shelf is held onto the wall by a small board with screws. Don't Know if this is original or not. I checked the owners manual and it said the shelf behind the bed had hinges and is made to fold up to give you more sleeping room. The manual does not say what shelf. Also, my middle bed is higher then the bed in front of the trailer. Is yours the same?

Hi Randy--If you could post a picture for us, I bet we can figure it out. I have a '67, and used to have a '68.
