Rivet Size and Type

It appears that the plywood under the bed was originally attached to the metal rail on the side of the trailer with rivets. I believe they were removed when the previous owner was replacing the hot water heater. I do not know rivets and any suggestion on size and type, to use to reattach the board, would be greatly appreciated.

Personaly I would not use rivets with wood. Proper wood screws would be my choice.

The rivets were used to connect the hinges on the plywood sheet to the metal rail on the wall

So is there an actual hinge on the wood side that attaches the wood to the metal L rail on the wall. So it would be metal attaching to metal? 1/8" rivets long enough to go through the 2 hinge halves would work then. Sheet metal screws would also work, #8s long enough to go through both hinge halves.
