Reupholstery for 28' International
Does anyone know how much 54" wide fabric is required to recover the cushions for the L-shaped sofa?

I bet you could measure the height/width/length of each cushion and contact an upholster and they could give you a close estimate.
Try this.

We live in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico. Our Airstream is stored in McAllen, TX, and I would like to order the fabric in the US, have it delivered there, then pick up the cushions and fabric and have the job done here by my fantastic upholsterer.
Anyone out there with a 28'International willing to measure their L-shaped sofa for me?

As somebody who has re-upholstered the seating in our Airstream and some of our living room furniture, I have one piece of advice: Don't skimp on what you buy! It is always better to have a little extra rather than running out only to find out that the fabric is discontinued or from another batch with a slightly different color.

Mike Goetz, Airstream customer service, just emailed me the complete specs for the sofa. Now, to do the math!

Hint: Before you buy what you believe is sufficient fabric based on just the cushion measurements in-hand be aware that the pattern repeat distance and direction are both major function elements of how much material you need. Pattern repeat and pattern direction are usually overlooked when calculating "how much" and the end result is not enough fabric. Buying a few more yards of fabric is always cheaper than oops! I highly suggest you speak with your "fantastic upholsterer" before committing to yardage.

I agree with Seemore. Send the dimensions to the upholstery person and let them do it! Don't forget extra if you want self fabric piping.
