I've looked for a thread regarding the replacement of interior walls and didn't find one...so...advice please!!!
I've gutted my 1972 Airstream Safari of all interior walls. I've removed the old wiring and insulation.
I know, of course, replacing with aluminum is a choice - but is there other materials for the interior walls to be used when restoring an airstream?
Of course, it has be light and bendable.
Is aluminum the number one choice?
And, if so...do you know of a supplier?
Thanks!
There are multiple threads on Air Forums about replacing interior skin.
Enter 2024, the grade of aluminum used by Air Stream for interior skins, in the search box and you should find a bunch of threads.
