Replacement Bed & Gaucho Suggestions

We had to remove both the full bed in the rear of our 31' 1980 International and the gaucho/sleeper sofa in the front for other repairs. The bed was trashed due to an unattended leak in the ceiling vent, so it was not at all salvageable. The gaucho was in rough shape, but we were able to save some of the frame.
Does anyone have suggestions where to find a replacement bed?
We can't decide if we want to replace the sleeper sofa for the front or if we want to install a dinette that coverts into a bed. Thoughts?
I would like to think we could build something, but our time is limited and I would rather spend it using the trailer than working on it...though it is not out of the question.
Thanks in advance, we really appreciate it!!

Sorry to hear of your loss of critical parts. I have used Bradd and Hall up in Elkhart Ind for both beds and/or sleeper/jackknives sofas. The mattresses they can make to size and the sofas back fold down to fix right inside the airstream doors. Just ensure if you go with a sleeper sofa you have enough room for when that it extended as a bed. Their jackknives sofas are easy to use.
You can find them on the internet. Great folks that are pretty close by.

Good Luck.

I replaced the Gaucho in our 31' Sovereign with a dinette that converts to a bed. My wife and I love the huge bed it gives us and also the large table. I just posted some information on it here: http://www.airforums.com/forums/f39/...ml#post1469840

I have a 1972 sovereign and was wondering if this is a good restoration project?

The new sofa that Airstream is putting in the new classic looks appealing, having two recliners, though I would like to see it "in person" or rather sit on it ...I am sure that the pricetag will be pricey...

I placed two ikea recliners in the front where the goucho would go. Bought the trailer without anything in the front for seating. The chairs are fabric and cost $350.00 Canadian each approx. Was a quick easy fix.
