Thumbs up Need a 13 panel interior cap, colorado perferably

Hello i am looking for a 13 panel interior cap that i could take apart and make templetes out of, i would remove it, take it apart and reinstall it into the trailer for you. Plus i would give you a undetermined (we can make a deal if you have a trailer)amount of money just for allowing me to use your pieces. These pieces would be taken care of and would look the same as when i took them out. This would not be the first cap i have messed with, it also wouldnt be the first cap i have installed or removed, help me out guys

I don’t think any two interior 13 panel assemblies are exactly the same. Several forum members have veneered their interior with plywood segments screwed to the aluminum panels. The cavity between the interior panels and the exterior 13 panels can vary from 2” to 1/2” which tells me there wasn’t an exact assembly. Can you ask someone near you that has a vintage pre-1957 AS if you can make a template of their interior end cap? The segments vary in size, the rivets are symmetrical and equally spaced. Good luck

Maybe timeless travel trailers in wheat ridge have some templates you could rent / copy for $$?

I would recommend you leave the narrow end (window end) long. Windows are not perfectly centered on the older trailers.

I think that Colin Hyde has plans or segments for sale.
