In some trailers - like the 25FB Flying Cloud - the subwoofer is located behind the drawer so it can't be enlarged.
Two screws hold the subwoofer so it's easy to move, or remove as we did. It looks to me like the thing is constantly drawing power from the batteries and we don't consider flooding the inside of the trailer with richer noise desirable.

After trying to live with this dinette/cushioned benches designer's exercise fitted poorly and wastefully in the end of our Flying Cloud (all late model 25s and 27s are stuck with this thing) we decided to get rid of the whole thing as shown in our Avatar.

The table is too wide and there are foam bolsters behind all the back cushions to widen a standard dinette enough to "look right". And it looks good but sits poorly for anything but using the table.

Adding the side storage is an excellent idea. The 27' Classics had a compartment there for folding chairs. Other modifications may be a sofa or reclining chair(s) and not all 25/27 models allow the same modification because there may be appliances in the way.

An opportunity to be your own designer of useful space to fit your own lifestyle, you can't do much worse than the original. A caution to consider is personalizing it so that nobody wants it when you decide to sell or trade.

That is a super idea and a great job. You could sell those cabinets. I would like to do something similar but I am not as talented as you are.
