International CCD interior conversion

Has anyone ever done/seen an International CCD interior conversion to a safari or older coach? I like the contemporary style, but I would like to resotre and older coach.

Several

Most people don't go "all the way CCD" but quite a few have done really nice updates. Be prepared - the inside skins may have some damage, etc. that is currently covered. You might have to replace some or all to get the shiny interior. You'll also almost certainly have to build out your own furniture. The actual curve of the top side has changed over the years, so for instance my 22 CCD's wet bath wouldn't fit in an older 7 or 13 panel shell.

Use the "Search" function, to see previous threads. There are lots of folks who've done work I really love --- and admire from a safe distance! And there is so much creativity. Many folks have techniques that result in really light but strong dinettes, etc. PS... the dinette cushions on the CCD don't make a comfortable bed... in that area, stick closer to the Safari or Classic ideas. Good luck with your hunt for vintage, and your redo.
