Question interior plastic end caps

I do not know what the correct name for these parts are. I call them "end caps". There is one at each end of the interior ceiling and each has a cabinet built into it.
mine are in my 1991 34' Classic limited edition. Both have some cracks in the upper door openings on the outer corners. I want to repair these and prevent further cracks from forming.

Does fiberglass stick to this plastic?
Is there a special repair product?

I have rebuilt 3 fiberglass boats have no experience with this plastic stuff.

All help will be greatly appreciated.

The first thing you want to do is to stop the cracks from getting any longer. Drill a very small hole at the end of each crack, that should prevent them from growing. The end caps on my 75 have many cracks that have been stop drilled like this. At this time I have not done anything to cover them up, others have. Here is one members solution:
