Interior or exterior application?

Some of our rivets have popped out inside our safari..any recommendations for the Olympic 5/32 ones that I see at Vintage Trailer?..how 'bout the optional washers, good idea?..the ones that are currently in the seams are 1/8..thnx

You probably won't want to use the Oly's for interior replacement, they have a much bigger head and splay out inside the wall like a toggle bolt; overkill IMHO. I would use the white 1/8" and if they pop again go up to the 3/16" and paint the heads with model paint, nail polish or white out I have found that if a rivet pops it means that it was installed improperly, the hole was drilled poorly (wallowed) or you have another issue that needs to be addressed.

Your popping interior rivets from a cause.

Either your axle is bad, and/or your running gear is out of balance.

Olympic rivets are for the exterior only.

Also using Olympic rivets with the washers, on the exterior, is a guarantee of having water leaks, and is recommended by those that know little to nothing of an Airstream's behavior when towing.

Regular Olympics are used on the exterior, along with Vulkem sealer.
