Interior cabinetry designs and dimensions
We have a 1975 29' Ambassador we are remodeling from the bathroom partition walls to the very front.
What dimensions is everyone using for their kitchen countertops, dinettes, pantry, etc.? I'm not finding a lot of resources of actual plans with size dimensions for remodeling with new cabinets and furniture.
For instance, how high should the seat dinette bench be from the floor (without padding)? How deep should the bench seat be for most butts to sit comfortably? Should the dinette table be a minimum size length and width? How wide, deep, and tall should the kitchen counter be? Anyone redesigned the pantry to allow for more walking room into the bedroom area so we can convert the two twin beds to a full size bed on one wall?
Attached is a picture of (to scale) of my idea with the interior redesign. Can anyone help with sharing what they did as far as dimensions? Thanks!
